“Fortunately, Aurora Theatre has many of the tools needed to be a successful non-profit business, which is why we are growing at such a rapid rate. But I am inspired to see the Blank Foundation not only be committed to funding the arts, but providing arts organizations the vital research and business tools that will elevate our profit. From the challenge of creating a “STOP Doing List,” I am optimistic that the speakers and topics are more Atlanta-centric, since Georgia’s funding is not only well below the southern average, but almost at the end of the national average. The Blank Foundation’s multi-faceted support may be just the advantage we need to help us navigate the limited funding waters that exist in Georgia.”
