Atlanta Chamber Players

Founded in 1976, the Atlanta Chamber Players (ACP) are Atlanta’s oldest chamber music organization. A mixed ensemble piano, strings, and winds, the ACP have performed critically acclaimed concerts in cities throughout the U.S., Europe, and Mexico, have premiered over 125 works in Atlanta, and reach thousands annually through live concerts and radio. Over 40 seasons, the ACP have earned a national reputation as an innovative pioneer among chamber music groups. The ensemble appears in 15 or more performances each season, including traditional public concerts in unique venues, and soirée concert events in fine homes for a subscription-based audience. The ACP founded and directs the biannual nationwide Rapido! Composition Contest, serving emerging American composers in 50 states, with a prize including premieres from partner ensembles in 5 cities.

Working with the Audience Building Roundtable has opened up numerous possibilities for our small arts organization. Learning from experts, talking with peers, and sharing our own knowledge has been incredibly rewarding. We are grateful and excited that the Blank Foundation is leading this collaborative initiative to broaden and strengthen arts audiences in our region.
